Robot Manga by DJ EKL, Hysterism, BBk
Through happenstance, Son’s of Noise Records, an electronic label out of Italy, brought together two Italian producers DJ EKL -Robert Mannoni- and BBK -Ryan Krantz-, when they initiated a collaboration for a release on the Italian electronic record label. With their creative energy clicking instantly, the two decided to continue to collaborate, and have been unstoppable ever since. Together they are collecting #1’s and top 100 chartings in multiple genre’s all across Beatport. Deciding they needed another level of creative energy they teamed up with DJ EKL’s close friend and talented producer, Hysterism -Alec Septien -.
We are fired up here at Impossible Records for ‘Robot Manga’, the trio’s latest mini EP that combines their love for humor, anime and of course, dubstep! ‘Robot Manga’ opens the EP with a minimal dubstep march progressing into a four on the floor rave style build, that drops into a slick rhythmic bassline groove with a comical flair. ’Number One’ escorted by BBK building the hype chanting ‘lets have some fun, kicks off the track with epic trance style chords then blasts off into another well produced drop that has a Zomboy’ -esque vibe with strong synth fills carrying the track through till the end.
