THE CRYING SPELL
Coming off the success of their single Elemental, The Crying Spell played the halftime performance for the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks in front of a record breaking attendance of 67,000 people and caught the attention of a Seattle based label, Arena Music Promotions. Later that year the band signed with Arena Music Promotions. Their debut record "Through Hell To Heaven" attracted the attention of Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman who then invited the band to open for them on their UK/European tour. Stylistically inspired by mostly European acts such as early The Cure, Duran Duran, The Cult, The Cars, Gary Numan, and also by representatives of the world-famous Seattle sound, The Crying Spell have seen a growing international fanbase ever since.
